Four Baseball Players earn NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete
Wiley University baseball players Coren Lewis, Jesse Jones, Kadin Resendez and Ryan Clark were among the top players in the country in academic performance as they were named National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Daktronics Scholar-Athletes.
The quartet were among more than 1,000 athletes nationwide that held a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and are in at least their second season with their current institution. Lewis has earned the honor three times. He will graduate in May with his Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. He spent four seasons in the bullpen.
The other three earn the honor for the first time. Jones and Clark are both business management majors.
