Men's Basketball travels to Arkansas Baptist
The Wiley University men's basketball team will rematch with Arkansas Baptist College at 7 p.m. Monday in Little Rock.
The game will be the Wildcats' last non-conference game. They split their previous four, which included a 70-66 loss to the Buffaloes at home on November 2. Wiley held a 12-point halftime lead but had two significant scoring droughts, which allowed the Buffaloes to rally.
The Wildcats (8-9, 6-7 HBCUAC) haven't played since falling 74-62 against Philander Smith University at home on January 23. Raymond Guillory recorded his third double-digit scoring game in his previous four with a team-high 16. Mosley extended his double-digit scoring streak to four games with 11. Tayvion Fisher led the team with 22 points in the November 2 game against the Buffaloes.
The Buffaloes have lost three of their last four games, the latest against Haskell Indian Nations University on Saturday. Nate Braden scored 22 points and leads the team with 14.1 per game. In the November 2 game, Ryan Gordan scored 17 points and five rebounds. Braden and Deavon Bankston followed with 15 and 14.
