Ulloa wins CAC Offensive Player of the Week

After contributing to all four goals in the Wiley University men's soccer team's victory over Tougaloo College, Anthony Ulloa earns the Continental Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for September 2-8.

In Sunday's 4-1 victory, Ulloa started the scoring in the 13th minute. He scored on a PK in the 50th minute and drilled a shot from nearly 30 yards in the 51st minute to increase Wiley's lead to four. In the 47th minute, his shot deflected to his teammate Stephen Gaskin, who kicked it into the upper right corner of the net for his third in the last three matches.

He is tied for fourth in the Continental Athletic Conference in goals and fifth in points. Ulloa is the second Wildcat to earn a CAC Weekly Honor. Melvin Bonilla won Defensive Player of the Week for August 26-September 1.

The Wildcats will travel to William Carey University for a 6 p.m. match on Saturday.
