Wiley University men's soccer continues its road trip with a match against No. 10 William Carey University at 6 p.m. Friday in Danny Owens Field.
 
The match is the fourth of five away from the friendly confines of Pemberton Field. Live video will be available on the Urban Edge Network, which can be viewed online or downloaded for free to mobile devices via the app.
 
The Wildcats (2-2-1) are looking to bounce back from a 4-0 loss against Louisiana State University of Alexandria on Wednesday. This is the highest-ranked opponent they faced since September 1, 2018, when they took on No. 1 Wayland Baptist University. It marks the eighth match Wiley has played against a school ranked or receiving votes.
 
The Crusaders (3-2-1) advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Men's Soccer National Championship. They have won three of their last four matches, outscoring their opponents 12-4.
 
Friday's match will mark the third meeting between the Wildcats and Crusaders. The schools played each other last season, with the Wildcats suffering an 11-0 loss. They tied the first meeting in 2016.
