Hutchinson earns NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete
Wiley University men's track and field athlete Xavier Hutchinson was recognized for his academic achievement as a collegiate student-athlete being named a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Daktronics Scholar-Athlete.
He was one of over 1,000 men's track and field athletes nationwide that maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while competing. This is the first time Hutchinson has achieved the honor. He competed in throws and jumps for the Wiley University track and field team, earning All-HBCUAC in his four seasons.
