Goldsby repeats as HBCUAC Men's Runner of the Week

After running a personal best at the University of Texas at Tyler Season Opener, Javoun Goldsby repeats as Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for races between September 2-8.

Goldsby, the HBCUAC Preseason Runner of the Year, ran the six-kilometer course, which featured rolling hills, in 23:38.3, three minutes faster than his previous best. He ran at a 5:54 mile pace. The majority of the athletes he ran against were from National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) schools.

The Wildcats will head to the Southwestern University Showdown in Georgetown, Texas on Saturday.
