Goldsby claims Week 6 HBCUAC Runner of the Week

After leading Wiley University men's cross country at the Belhaven Invitational on Saturday, Javoun Goldsby garners Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Runner of the Week for September 29-October 5.

Goldsby, the Preseason HBCUAC Runner of the Year and defending Individual champion, led the Wildcats with a time of 29:41 in the Belhaven Invitational eight-kilometer race on Saturday. The time was his fastest this season. He competed against athletes from the National Collegiate Athletic Association and HBCUAC schools Dillard University and Tougaloo College.

The award is the seventh won by the Wildcats. They head to the Old Glory Gallop hosted by Dallas Baptist University on Saturday. It will be their final meet before the 2025 HBCUAC Cross Country Championship on October 17.
