Volleyball falls at Paul Quinn

DALLAS - Wiley University volleyball could not overcome its hitting struggles in a three-set loss at Paul Quinn College (25-10, 25-12, 25-11) on Wednesday at the Tiger Den.
 
The Lady Wildcats (3-11, 2-8 HBCUAC) continue their winless streak. Their last victory was on September 20. They fall to 1-7 away from Alumni Gymnasium. Wiley only recorded 16 kills and made 27 attacking errors with three on blocks by Paul Quinn.
Jae Jemmott led the team with five kills and two block assists. Kerrigan Biggs and Shyla Starks followed with three. Maria Luiza Chaves contributed 11 assists. Marai Guinyard led the team with 16 digs.
 
The Lady Wildcats will take on Huston-Tillotson University at 1 p.m. Friday at Philander Smith University's Mims Gymnasium. The match was originally scheduled to be at Alumni Gymnasium but was moved due to Homecoming events.
