Womack earns HBCUAC Freshman of the Week

After leading Wiley University women's cross country at the University of Texas at Tyler Season Opener on Saturday, Samarea Womack was named Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week.

In her freshman season, she qualified for the Class 4A Region 2 Championship in the 4 x 400-meter relay. This is the first weekly honor won by the Lady Wildcats.
